Part Twenty-Three

Their meal passed without further incident, and after a stop for gas, they resumed their homeward journey. Back on the freeway, Emily again leaned over to rest her head on Beaner's shoulder.

“You tired?”

“Not really,” Emily said. “I just wanted to take the opportunity to get close to you.”

“Just an hour or so more, and then we can stop somewhere and get as close as possible to one another.”

“I'm glad one of us is a responsible adult.”

“Patience, patience. With a few distractions, an hour will pass by in no time at all.”

“Distract away.”

“Well,” Beaner said, “what's the sexiest thing you ever read, or watched?”

“Um… that's a good question. I'd never really thought of it like that, before.”

“What? C'mon…”

“No, really. It's pretty much binary, for me. Something's sexy, or it isn't. I never really tried to put things in order, before.”

“Well, you must admit that some things are hotter than others, right?” Beaner asked.

“Sure.”

“So, what's something that was really sexy, sexier than a lot of other things you read or watched?”

Emily sighed. “You're going to laugh, I know, because my exposure to porn is much smaller than yours, but I've got this low-budget porno flick from somewhere in Europe that's kind of a personal favorite.”

“I think you grossly overestimate the amount of porn I've seen,” Beaner said. “But go on, tell me about this video, then. What's so hot about it?”

“Well, it's girl-on-girl,” Emily said.

“That's a good start.”

“It starts out with some incomprehensible setup, like most porn flicks. Like, completely incomprehensible, because they're speaking some language I don't understand, and there are no subtitles.”

“Naturally.”

“Well, a bunch of talking and other boring stuff happens that I can't follow and normally just skip over, and then they start making out and undressing one another.”

Beaner giggled. “You've just described the first five minutes of pretty much every lesbian porno ever made, you know. What's so special about this one? What do they look like? What are they wearing? Where are they?”

Emily laughed, but then launched into a long description of the actresses, two otherwise unmemorable girl-next-door types from eastern Europe, dressed rather heavily for adult films in jeans and heavy cable-knit sweaters, and doing their thing on camera in a kind of cramped, rustic-looking loft apartment. “But that's not the good part, anyway,” she eventually said.

“Go on.”

“Well, like I said, they start making out, kissing and fondling, and they begin undressing each other. Long story short, they eventually wind up on a couch and get naked.”

“And then the good stuff happens?”

“No. Well, eventually. See, they start making out some more, in a real over-the-top way. Playing for the camera, making a lot of noise…”

Beaner laughed. “So, typical porn stuff, then.”

“Yeah. Well, they do that for a bit, and then the one starts using a toy on the other.”

“Oooh, okay.”

“Yeah. Well, they're still doing the cheesy porn acting thing, you know? Ridiculous amounts of moaning and what's probably dirty talk in whatever language they speak is, all that stuff. They're horrible actresses, okay? I mean, even by porn standards, they're awful.
